Yeah, another possible pregnancy question..?

Yeah, another possible pregnancy question..?

Postby Heather on Thu Oct 22, 2009 11:54 pm

So, I'm going to take a blood test on Tuesday, because I'm going to the doctor's for blood work for my anemia anyway, so I figured I'd just ask them to do one there, as well.

Anyway, I was wondering what everyone else though about the possibility of me being pregnant.

I got my period around September 20th, and had unprotected sex on September 23rd, 24th, and October 9th and 10th.

I've been feeling nauseous, my nipples are really sore, to the point that wearing a bra is highly uncomfortable. I've gotten more frequent headaches, I've had a lot of cramping for the past few weeks, I seem to ache quite a bit, I've been moody, bloated, and my period is late by a few days now. But, the cramps I've gotten were nothing like period cramps. I've also had constipation.

What do you ladies think? Do I seem like I might be pregnant, or I am just worrying too much?

Yes that sound EXTREMELY close to the symptoms, especially the soreness in the nipples, and uncommom craps and constipation,
GOOD LUCK!!

No I don't think you're worrying too much - I think you've definitely got some possible symptoms. Try not to get your hopes up too much - i only say that because it took us 16 months and I had 3 really odd cycles where I had symptoms of pregnancy (which I didn't imagine! You can't create an increased sense of smell *l*) but wasn't.

But I think you've got a very good chance of being pregnant. If you're already late for your period, you can take a test now and get an accurate result (if you want to know before your blood test). Hope you get a happy outcome :-)

There is always that chance. I think that you would have been more likely to conceive around October 9-10...but the ovulation and conception window is very different from woman to woman.
Most pregnancy sites say that you shouldnt feel symptoms until you are about 6 weeks pregnant, but I felt them right away. I had terrible stomach aches, sore breasts, and other symptoms like that and ... I turned out to be pregnant.

It is likley that you're experiencing early pregnancy signs, but I guess its also likely that it's just your period coming.
But, since youre period is already a few days late, you might be! You would be able to detect if you were pregnant on a home pregnancy test by now. If you don't want to wait till Tuesday, then I would recommend going out to the dollar store and just buying a cheap $1 one. They do work and are reliable, especially if you dont want to spend a fortune on one. Just take it with first morning urine. And it could wade you over till you get the bloodwork done. But it would depend if you get anxious about things like me, and just cant wait. :)

Wow, that was long..Sorry. But Good Luck!
