I've heard it doesn't help with weight loss at all, and right now I need my metabolism to be as fast as it can for my five day fast. Please don't give me your bullshit on how I should be eating, I'm not going to. I have anorexia, and there's nothing you guys can say to make me eat.

You can drink a crap load of coffee. That speeds up your heart rate and when your heart rate is increased, so is your metabolism.

why ask a question that you don't want answered honestly? you need to get help. what you are doing to your health and your body isn't worth it. i should know, i suffered from anorexia and bulimia for 9 years.

Weight loss was a permanent drag for me until I used acai berry. I understand they say that pills don't work, but they sure worked for me, and they have been showcased on the Rachael Ray Show too. You are demonstrating an alarming ignorance. Please educate yourself on how your body works. Essentially, over the long haul, your body runs on calories. Diet Coke has zero calories. You do the math.

It's not going to help with weight loss, simply because it has no calories. It's as if you were drinking unhealthy water. The fact that you're fasting may not help as much as you think, either. The best thing you can do is to cut back, eating only foods that are unprocessed or as little processed as possible (ex., wheat or rye bread v. white bread, doughnuts, cakes, pies, etc.),including fruits, vegetables, and low-fat dairy and meats. You also need to eat 3 small meals and 2-3 small snacks throughout the day rather than 3 large meals. If you eat nothing, or go a long time between meals, your metabolism goes into what is called starvation mode. It thinks it's being starved, and basically starts hibernating. Not only do you need the nutrients from food, but small meals at regular intervals will keep your metabolism going regularly, and will help you burn off more calories.

I don't care if you cuss us out or not. If you have anorexia, you need to get to a doctor. It's a fatal disease, and you need mental help to see that your body image is wrong. I may not be tiny, but I bet I'm healthier than you.
