Hinder you from what? Run across where? You'll have to be more specific.

Why do the cat hinder us or run across when we go out?

Are you saying that the cat runs across in front of you when you go out the door? If so, it's simple. The cat knows when you go out the door you are gonna be gone. It wants you to stay. Animals have no concept of time, so even if you're gone 15 minutes it can feel like hours to the animal. My cats don't do it, but my dogs do if they see me get the truck keys down. They get between me and door.

Because they secretly want to trip you so that you may, by chance, hit your head and expire. They will then feast on your flesh until someone discovers you. Then, at that time, they will pretend to be a sweet little kitty looking for their next victim.

What do you mean hinder you? Like how? And what do you mean they run across? Across what? I'm not quite sure what you are asking?!

When objects or people are moving, cats are constantly considering the tangent of their path and the path of the moving object. They mathematically calculate the time and place of the intersection of the two paths and, being cats, they are compelled to reach and cross that intersection of tangents first. Very sadly, they occasionally miscalculate.

Once, a cat committed suicide by jumping out and collide head on with my car.

...never leave any suicide note, it remains a mystery :(
