Why do so many women defend loud, insecure men as being "confident"?

If a guy always has a c*cky, smart-a** remark for others, he's not "witty" and "funny" . . . he's a tool.

If a guy is always yelling and drawing attention to himself, he's deeply insecure.

Why are women in denial and are defending these men as "confident"?

True "confident" men don't need to call attention to themselves, and are actually soft-spoken. The guys you describe are obnoxious assholes, not confident.

Because women need to convince themselves that he's a great guy so they won't look like idiots for staying with him. Sad huh?

Not me. That was always a huge turn off for me. When my man pops off at the mouth i tell him a guy who is truly confident doesnt have to talk about it or make it a point to be seen. He just is who he is with or without the world looking at him.

idk. It takes confidence to speak up, you know. They are also the ones who tend to get ahead faster in life. I like people who can freely express themselves. I give them credit for that. As long as they have substance and not just plain BS-ing.
