Why do people hate slipknot so much?

People love to hate plain and simple. Little minds and all aside, it took me awhile to like them, not because of how they dressed or what subdivision of rock they are, but I couldnt click with any of their songs until "before I Forget". Thus I've now come to respect Corey and the boys despite the seemingly overwhelming Anti-Slipknot propaganda going on everywhere. I'd say to these people to get off that bandwagon before it goes off the cliff figurtively....
