All good advice, one thing to keep in mind as you search for SEO tips and industry updates is that if you're considering doing your own SEO, everything needs to be done to scale.

Someone may recommend posting a Squidoo Lens with backlinks to your site and while that's a great tactic, you should keep in mind that for competitive keywords you're going to need something like 5-10 postings A MONTH on each Social Media hub to even put a dent in them.

In many cases it's more affordable both time and effort wise to hire a freelancer or SEO firm.
