she used to do sit ups in her sleep what was causing it?

that's odd. But in her sleep she could be subconciously doing some sort of activity, making herself do this in reality. Sort of like sleep walking.

I for instance, yell in my sleep and talk alot. I also somtimes punch in the air and walk around. it's nothing too unusual.

that is really weird.
mayb she feels she needs more exercise when she is awake so she acts in it when she is alseep. this is just a guess.
