what should we do..............?

Okay. My fiance and I are already trying to figure out what we are gonna do with our life. Like we are trying to decide how long we should wait to have kids and what to do once we have them. So right now, we are both freshmen in college. However, we want to get married in June of 2011. Well, we are both working towards getting careers in the medical field. He wants to be a nurse and I want to be a physician assistant. So, the thing is we are thinking that we should wait til we get settled enough in our careers. Also, I will more than likely not go to work the first year that my baby is born. I would really like to spend time with my baby. So, after that, we are thinking of letting our mothers take care of our child while we are at work. We know that we have a lot of time until then. But we were just wanting opinions or suggestions on that. Like have any of you had a similar situation? And if so, what did you do?

If I were you I wouldn't get married until you have at least your bachelors degree and then if you plan on going for more school don't have kids until you're done with that. Those cute little munchkins cost a hell of a lot of money and you should have a good job before you decided to bring one of them into this world.

Honey you have too many carriages before the horses. Focus on one thing at a time....one day at a time. You can't assume or throw people into roles because that's what you want. It's obvious you're young and a bit naive. Life never works out according to plans.
