What's the point of playing Russian Roulette?

I know that it is a game of life or death ( just just found out about it from Rihanna's new single) but whats the point of the game? Whats the benefit?

Some people believe it shows determination and leadership, because of the fact that they seem to be fearless. I think it's just plain stupidity, but the main reason is that they want to seem fearless and determined.

The players involved were normally forced to participate. Either as a punishment, for onlookers to gamble upon or both. The benefit I guess for the players would merely be that you have a 50% chance of dying as opposed to 100% chance if you refused to play ( at least in most circumstances)

i dont think there is any benefit. We play to entertain and enjoy ourselves but such a game where you win at the cost of some one's life sounds really crazy. It is no wonder that is also a form of enjoyment for few people otherwise Russian roulette as the game would n't have been popular

Its for stupids and dumbs that don't care about their family and friends. They show that they are courageous but in reality they aren't.
