What is the appropriate age to get married, in your opinion?

I have been with my boyfriend for over two years now and we are talking about marriage which is not a bad thing, I just want to know what age is considered "okay" in the public eye to get married?

I am 20 and he is 21. He already got his Assoc App Science degree at a technical school and is working and planning on going to school to get a bachelors in engineering while Im working on my BS/MS in Accounting at a university and working. We know that we have to be financially stable and mature in order to start that new chapter in our lives and were more than certain that we want to make this commitment. Although, we dont plan on getting married until I receive my BS/MS in Acct in May 2012 or possibly May 2011, we just want to be fully aware and prepared. We talk about this all the time and neither one of us believe in divorce. I just feel that were ready, what is your preception on this? But what age do you think is appropriate age to get married? Is there any tips or advice you would give us before doing so?

Not before 40.
Until then, most people are too immature.

people should be together for at least 5 years before they get married and 4 of those 5 should be years they have lived together. it takes a long time to really get to know a person. i would say 25 is a good age to start thinking about marriage

i would say between 38-40 because u will know how bad of an idea and how much you hate eachother by then

when you find the right person, its not the age but when you find that person hang onto them and yeah thats normal considering how long you have been together, people are getting married loads these days and my friend got engaged 6 months ago and has her wedding booked for 2 years! avoid being on the waiting list good luck
