What do you do when your Dad is dunk?

Sometimes I get into those situations and he really annoys me. he would ask me dumb questions and he also tries to hide his beer from me and my mom. Sometimes he would look at internet Porn. What is your opinion?

My father also drinks alot,i hate it,he has promised me so many times he would stop,he still doesnt

he doesnt only drink beer,he drinks hard lliqour and when he does he will hide it under the car seat (yes he drinks and drives)

but we can always tell when he drinks cause he is sloppy an ubnoxious

my mom almost left him once cause he doesnt stop

but in my case....there is nothing you can do to stop him

its better just to leave him alone and let him pass out and fall asleep

One way to manage is to stay out of his way as much as possible. If you see he's drunk, spend time at a friend's house or at an activity. If you have a close friend whose parents are understanding, you might be able to spend a lot of time at their house and even spend the night at short notice.
If you can't get out, try to stay in your room. This should keep you out of the line of fire. You won't have to see him trying to hide beer, and you won't be around for the drunken questions.
Whether he looks at porn is an issue between your parents only, so you'll have to keep out of that as best you can.
I'm very sorry this happens to you. It's a nasty thing to live with. Think about contacting www.al-anon.alateen.org It's a support group (nationwide) for teenagers who are in the same situation as you. They meet to discuss their lives. You might learn a tip or two for coping with your family, and you would be able to talk about your life with people who understand exactly what it's like.
