one of the BEST things for arthritis is KNOX GELATIN...
What Knox Gelatin does is support/ reinforce the connective tissue.
They have drinkable KG but it is expensive... so if you buy the plain you just mix it with hot cranberry juice and drink it at least once a day.

it takes about a month to get going but it will releave the pain greatly.

If it does not help it will not hurt you.

try it along with any calcium that you take.

I started drinking VMIXX and when I tap my teeth together, they don't make a dull sound anymore. Now, when i tap them together they make a higher pitch sound. It seems very strange, but it's true.

When the body is defficient of calcium, it starts to pull calcium from the bones and the teeth. The VMIXX put the calcium back in my body. It also has probiotics, enzymes and mega nutrients. An ounce a day is all I need. Their site is vmixxlife...

Also, my step moms neighbor who has arthritis and is 90 yrs. old drinks VMIXX. She was unable to walk for long periods and I was told that she is doing great and her pain is subsiding more and more each day. I also think she drinks about an ounce a day.

Okay, one more thing...I can't seem to stop yakking. I had fibromyalgia and I don't have my pain anymore. I think my body was just so deprived of nutrients and the product is full of live nutrients that go to work right away.

Seroyal/Genestra brand Multi Cal-Mag liquid (contains multiple minerals, along with vit D). It's a professional brand most often prescribed by naturopaths. I suggest the mint flavour (the punch flavour tastes like bubble gum).

You can order online or through some health food stores.

Also, a great source of calcium is through chicken or beef broth (that's how our ancestors did it before health food stores!). Use organic whole chicken or beef bones (knuckles and ribs) if available, and simmer the bones (along with vegetables and water) for as long as possible (up to 24 hrs). You know when you've got good broth when, after it's been chilled, the broth is a gel (natural gelatin).

Two great resources for information on health and traditional cooking are Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon and The Fourfold Path to Healing by Thomas Cowan.
