Taking insulin for diabetes?

how long after taking short acting insulin,should it take for my glucose to drop? I take humalog!

I am taking this from my diabetic handbook the hospital gave me.

It starts working about 5-15 minutes after you inject it, and it is working it's strongest at about 45-90 minutes. It lasts for about 3-4 hours., Hope this helped!
