weight gain does not happen over night, and it most certainly will not drop itself in that short amount of time.
I personally know what it feels like to do everything and not see any results, but as my boyfriend told me, you need to learn how to be patient. Stressing yourself to see these losses will not do you any good.
Continue what you are doing, and in time, the weight will drop. Here are some tips that have helped me
1. Lift light weights, for toning. Build muscle, muscle burns more calories compared to fat
2. Instead of eating three big meals, eat five or six little meals. Make your earlier meals your dense meals, and later meals your lighter meals. Eating frequently and in small amounts is actually good for your metabolism, just make sure these meals are healthy and not junky
3. Avoid pop
4. Exercise six times a week for at least twenty minutes. The point here is to get your heart rate up,and keep it up for at least twenty minutes. I do various aerobic exercises, but from what I know, the general rule is to switch it around every six weeks. Email me if you are curious for the different exercise dvds I do if you want. My favorite line is The Firm and Leslie Sansone.
5. Take up pilates (Mari Winsor is excellent) and her workouts help your body get toned
All in all, weight loss is something that takes patience, and its better to make smaller changes and keep it off permanently rather than make drastic changes only for it not to last.
