when changes occur in society, opportunities for new businesses and industries emerge. What are some new product or service opportunities that small businesses can offer now, but could not offer in the past?

Actually with the change in economy etc, small businesses actually have less opportunities than they did before. With the lack of demand, the larger businesses are taking the small business's opportunities, leaving the weaker small businesses in the dust. With the credit crisis, small business are having a hard time getting their hands on capital as well. So to be a small business right now, there are no new opportunities, just holding on tight, working your but off, and riding the wave until it's over and small businesses have an opportunity to grow again.
