Sinus infection at 24 weeks...Any suggestions?

I am 24 weeks pregnant. I have a sinus infection that is whooping my butt. I've taken benadryl (2 caplets..my ob said I could take it). I've also taken tylenol for the killer migraine I have. Needless to say, the tylenol hasn't helped and I don't want to keep taking it if it won't work. Also, I don't want to hurt the baby by taking too much. What else can I take for my migraine? It hurts so bad that I've been to the point of tears. I can barely think and concentrate. Help please!!!

Sorry, it wasn't plain tylenol. I'm taking tylenol severe cold, the multi-symptom one. I've taken 4 in the past 8 hours. I don't want to take anymore and I don't know what else to do. thanks.

I know your ob told youto take benadrly but dont it can still hurt the baby take cheap tylinol...

regular tylenol never did anything for me but i got a sinus infection while pregnant with my first and the only thing that helped was tylenol cold and sinus. its totally different from straight up tylenol

Sorry to say but i dont think theres anything that you can do. the only thing that my doctor told me that i could take for that is tylonol you cant take anything other than that was what i was told. but good luck

OMG you poor thing! i had somethig like this when i was about 38 wks with my son and its the worst coz there really isnt anything you can take i mean if your doc has prescribed you something that isnt working maybe try having a lay down and a nice cup of honey & lemon tea for the sinus...idk just a thought but i hope u get better soon!

Go to
Walgreens or Wal- Mart or Rite Aid and get a sinus rinse kit it is normal saline packets you mix with water and you rinse your sinuses out my family uses it almost daily it is great for your problem or allergies to.You will find it helps a great deal. and it is all natural.

Try taking some pamprin max... that's what I used when I was pregnant and it works wonders and my dr. said it was ok. It the ingredient combo that works.

saline nose spray.it kills the virus.it's safe for you and the baby

have they said anything about antibiotics...i would try some tea tonight...vaporub on ur chest and under ur nose, maybe a vaporizer...i'm trying to think of what i do for my little ones. a hot bath...sleep...good luck

Well I got a sinus infection while I wa pregnant (6 months) and the doctor prescribed me hydrocodone and antibiotics he said it was ok while I was pregnant...bout three days later i felts so much better, and my baby is fine.
