Should i use Accutane?

Ive tried everything to treat my acne, ive used proactiv, acne-free, benzaclin, doxycycline, but none of it worked. On doxycycline, my skin totally cleared but it only lasted a week. I dont see many other options but i hear accutane has some serious side affects. Should i just do it?

heyy i'm due to start roaccutane (as it's called in the UK) next month. i've read up on it, and the severe side effects have made me very dubious of taking this 'miracle drug', but i really feel i can't live with acne any more, and so i'm taking the risk and now looking forward to having steadily better skin! make sure you have plenty of people round you who care about you and will be able to make sure you're not getting depressed or anything, and keep lip balm on you at all times lol. if you're still at school like me, this is a great time to start, as it's the holidays soon so if you get a bad reaction you can hide in the house for a few weeks :P . i hope your skin gets better whatever option you choose :) xx
