Poker question about volume needed?

Ive become pretty good and play solid poker now I think if I played 50k hands I would be a winning player.

I have had hard to put in a lot of volume but I think I can start playing omre consistantly now.



so question1:

Why is it so important to play lots of tables online when you can be a winning player playing just 1 table live?

Since 1 table online is a lot more hands per hour than live as well, shouldnt it be plentifull playing just on table online too?



question 2:

How many tables and hours per day do you recommend I play if I wanted to start being able to make around 2000 euro per month.

I dont have to make that money from that much from the go but after 1-3 months of grinding I would like to start being able to do that.

I play 6max Cash games right now just 2 tables at 25NL.

You seem to be answering your own questions...

Yes, 1 table on-line is more hands than 1 table live, so you can make more.

But if you play 4 tables on-line, you can make even more... even if you win a little less per table because your attention is split, you'll win more overall per hour.

You said you would be a winning player over 50K hands. So won't you get to 50K hands 4 times faster playing 4 tables instead of just one?

I don't really know Question 2, I don't play as much as you seem to want to play.

to make that much money from NL25 would require a lot of volume. So i'll calculate it for NL50.

lets assume 1 euro=1.5USD so you want to win $3k per month.
lets assume a solid winrate of $3/100
therefore it will require 100k hands per month.
If each table you play gives you 75 hands per hour playing 2 tables at once will take you 667 hours which basically means you are never going to do it 2 tabling.
