This summer, I was going to take my absolute best friend to a Jonas Brother concert, which she has never been to. She isn't obsessed with them, but she looks up to them as role models and would be happy to see them in person.
Her father is a pastor and strongly believes that she has too much idolization in her life, and is therefore not allowing her to go.
He doesn't support the 'person she is becoming' because of her 'idolization'.
This led to her feeling insecure about herself, while thinking her sister and brother and perfect.. and she is just, average.
How can I make her feel better?
She's really upset and I feel bad.
She's the sweetest Christian girl in the world, and she doens't deserve to feel this way.
Please help.
