Pet Rock questions !?

Postby Naddi on Sat Oct 24, 2009 9:51 am

Hello . Please , do not make fun of me and do not post rude comments !

I decided to adopt a pet rock , and I have a few questions :

1. Where should I get a pet rock ? From a park , or something ? Because I don't want to spend so much money on the ones on eBay , and I want to be creative with making my pet rock ...

2. What size should the rock be ? I don't want a massive stone or a tiny pebble !

3. Should I make an adoption certificate ? And what should I write on it if I want to make one myself ?

4. What do pet rocks eat , and how do i actually feed them ?

5. How can I make a little box for him to sleep in ? Should I just take a shoebox and put a blanket in it ?

6. How can I train my pet rock ?

7. How to find the perfect pet rock ?

Thank you if you reply in a nice way . Please do not write any rude comments !

thank - you ,

Naddi :)

No , this is not a joke , I am just asking . Pet Rocks sound like fun , but no way I am getting obsessed about it and all I talk about is Pet Rocks !

Please do not post any rude or nonsense comments .

thank - you !

Pet Rock questions !?

Postby Agee on Sat Oct 24, 2009 9:57 am

I think when you find the rock that was meant to be your pet, you will know. And also, there's a good chance that this rock is not the rock that you stubbed your toe on, or the rock that chipped your car windshield. It could be the rock that ended up in your purse for some reason. It's very likely the rock that showed up wrapped in a blanket in a basket on your doorstep.

Pet Rock questions !?

That's cute.

1. when you go out walking keep an eye out for one
2. sounds like you know the kind of size you want. When you see it you'll know.
3. Make it yourself. Put the rocks name, your name, date of adoption, place of adoption and where you found the rock.
4. Pet rocks actually eat sunshine. Take it out for a walk with you every now and then. Once a week should be fine.
5. Pet rocks actually like wicker baskets with a layer of cotton wool. Cover the wool with a soft face cloth and another face cloth for a blanket. They are actually very sensitive to hardness and cold.
6. Pet rocks are instinctively very well trained
7. Just keep looking. You'll eventually find the perfect one for you!

LoL that was fun thanks!

Pet Rock questions !?

Postby Arythien on Sat Oct 24, 2009 10:06 am

WAIT!!! First you have to understand that adopting a pet rock is a HUGE commitment. Where you get your pet rock from makes a huge difference in it's personality e.g. If you got a pet rock from the beach it would be cool and calm but would have a rough and stormy side as well.
The best size pet rock is one about half the size of your fist. This means that you can pet it easily and hold it in your hand.
You can make an adoption certificate but that's entirely up to you, maybe look at a birth certificate to get the right idea how to make one.
Pet rocks don't eat - they absorb sunlight. So take your rock for a play in the garden and they'll love you.
A shoebox is wayyyyyyy too big. Try a tissue box with a blanket in it.
You can easily train your pet rock. Mine knows how to roll and sit and play dead but he hasn't quite mastered bounce yet. Try giving it a push and see what it does.
The perfect pet rock could be anywhere. Just keep your eyes open and trust me you'll know it when you see it!
Have Fun!

Pet Rock questions !?

Postby Secretarybird565 on Sat Oct 24, 2009 11:48 am

Congratulations on deciding to adopt a pet rock!
1. next time you go to a beach, look for some nice rocks. Beach rocks are always lovely and smooth and would be great for this kind of thing.
2. It depends. I would say about the size that you can fit in your palm.
3. perhaps like this:
PET ROCK ADOPTION CERTIFICATE
Name of owner: (your name)
Name of rock: (your rock's name)
Date of adoption: ( the day you got your rock)
Size: (the size of your rock)
Where found: (the place you found your rock at)
Signature: (sign here!)
4. The brilliant thing about pet rocks is that they don't need feeding and so they don't make any mess!
5. A little shoebox with a towel or some hay inside would be perfect for your rock to live in.
6. Pet rocks do not generally move about much so teaching them tricks is hard but training is not usually necessary because all rocks are generally tame and they don't bite.
7. wait and see which is the right rock for you. For instance you might like marble or you might like granite. Don't rush into your decision on choosing your rocky friend, wait and see which rock is right for you.

PET ROCK NAMES:
Janet (Janet Granite)
Athene
Mynah
Rhea
Basalt
Xylok (means crystal)
Xyla (for a girl rock)
Marge
Daisy
Lucy and
Tessa
Hope this guide helps you with your pet rock :)
