I am confused as to whether Nordstrom sends this to everyone or if they answered this at what was about 2 am ny time. Can someone clarify what this means in terms of my chances of getting the job?

If this is a good sign how do I follow up with this? I have never even applied for a job before. What can I expect to happen next? Thank you! :)

Nordstrom application question!?

Job applications are usually tough - how should you fill them in? Should you chase them up when there is no answer? I suggest there's no definitive solution but the resource in the box below has some great instruction about this. It really helped me when I was composing job applications recently, plus they have alternative info on job searching.

The letter you got is an 'auto response' to the application you filled out online. Today or next week Nordstrom will contact you to for an interview schedule.

They might ask you to
Tell them about yourself?
Your biggest career accomplishment?
What was one of your worst experiences on the job and why?
If angry customer approaches you scenario question...

Goo Luck to ya!

Nordstrom application question!?

Postby MariaR641 on Fri Oct 23, 2009 10:42 pm

Hi!

Basically, this is an automatic response to your application and it just confirms that your application was processed. This is a very normal Recruitment/HR practice and you will be seeing more as you apply to other organizations that have an automated application system.

Most likely, you will receive a response for an interview via phone call by the Recruiter or Hiring Manager.

Hope this helps and best of luck to you.
