Need Diet Advice, RE: Adipex, Alli, and weight loss?

Need Diet Advice, RE: Adipex, Alli, and weight loss?

Postby americanfreeman on Thu Apr 16, 2009 6:22 am

I am a tax professional, so needless to say I have been very sedentary for the last 3 1/2 months. And you can tell it. I am 5'6 195 lbs and miserable. My sister took a picture of me this past weekend with me, my father and her, and I am the largest out of all of them. So just finished crying about that. I used to be 150lb before tax season started, and have ballooned into a whale.

Today is the last day of tax season and will have 8 1/2 months off. I have an appointment next week with my doctor to see if he can put me on Adipex (Phentermine). I have a bottle of Alli as well that I have been waiting to use until tax season is over due to the fear of having an accident. (I work 12 hour days 6 days a week)

Now that you have a little bit of a background and where I am starting at, my question is this:

Is it safe to take Adipex with Alli?

Also with me going out of work for 8 1/2 months, I can't afford to go to the gym, can't walk because of the nieghborhood I live in, and can't afford to create a pricey meals. (plus I need to cook something that a picky four year old who likes chicken nuggets only)

What can I do to lose weight? I am tired of looking in the mirror and seeing my arms, my thunder thighs and wearing a corset to keep my stomach in check. I drink alot of diet coke and really don't eat that much.

I will be able to get outside this summer and tend to my garden and work outside. But as for being able to go to parks or gyms and such, I won't be able to do it. I don't want to build up any more muscle, but lose the insulation that I have currently around them.

Any suggestions? I am about desperate.

i would ask the doctor if they are safe to take together. also ask if they have a recommended diet and exercise plan you can follow. i have lost 20 pounds in 10 weeks by eating 1500 calories and doing 30 minutes of cardio a day. i also recently added weight training into the mix. good luck, and if you have any questions feel free to email me.

As for whether or not it is safe to combine Alli with Adipex, that's a question for your physician.
As for exercise, get some DVDs and workout at home if you can't go walking or go to a gym.

All the scientists and nutritionists say targeted weight loss is not possible, specifically in the hips and thighs zones, but I managed it with acai berry. I understand they say that pills won't work, however they definitely worked for me, and they have been showcased on CNN too. There's a free trial on currently at http://rinibs.bobcentury.com , give it a try, why not?
