my working out delimma?

Postby ACE on Sat Oct 24, 2009 5:52 pm

I have been working out for about 2 years now, i used to be around 165 am now close to 200 lbs if not a bit more. i would mabye like to go down to 185. im considering mabye cancelling my membership at the gym and focusing on cardio like just running or riding my bike everyday? I pretty much started working out because i moved to a new city and wanted something to do since i didnt know many people... it grew into an obsession but i mean im not cocky but i look good and i like to look good, but i think my body might be wearing out. my skin isint as nice as it used to be .. should i mabye give my body a break and do some cardio and mabye just some pushups and situps every other day at home? i mean i would save 60 bucks a month from the gym....thanks

my working out delimma?

Hey, I used this new supplement from http://dimock.hotstardiet.info. They have a risk free trial on at the moment. What it does, is rinse out your insides, there can be as much as 20 lbs in there, and no degree of dieting and exercise is going to rid you of it. Give it a go - I did, and melted away 17 lbs LOL!!!

I'm assuming then that you've been primarily doing weightlifting. I don't see how working out could effect your skin texture in any negative way, other than building calluses on the hands.
That being said, taking a break from weightlifting certainly couldn't do any harm, especially if you've been working out consistently for 2 years. The muscles and the central nervous system both could probably use a break. Take a few weeks up to a month off.
Cardio will keep you in good health, if you're looking to lose muscle weight, you will need to do it consistently to make your body transition into a lighter form and drop some of that muscle weight.
So your idea of cardio and pushups/situps is pretty spot on. Maybe some pullups too.
Then after your time off you could get back into weightlifting again, using lighter weights if you wish to keep a lighter build.
