my dad keeps putting all this pressure on me about beating her coworkers son at soccer?

He tells me stories everyday about how his coworkers son is some prodigy at school and sat scores and soccer and ******* everything he does. Today he was saying how he plays forward in soccer and all the girls in the stands were cheering for him and next February apparently my school plays his. Its my 1st year of soccer, I'm a fighter literally so ill beat this kids azz off the field but not on and my dad just puts all this pressure on me to beat him so he can brag but at tryouts i'm pretty much the worst player. and its just stressful knowing i'm going to let my dad down. I don't know what I should

You cannot win the game all by yourself and neither can he. Tell your Dad that soccer is a team sport. Your dad is letting you down by putting that much pressure on you. Sit down with him and try to talk to him and let him know how you feel. Hopefully, he will listen.

It is so sad these days that parents are taking the fun out of sports for their kids. I know kids who have quit sports all together because of the pressure from parents.
