Low carb or low calorie for weight loss?

I know to lose weight you do need to eat less calories than you burn, but does eating fewer carbs and more protein help you lose weight faster?

Yes it does, as long as your exercising at the same time!! You must eat right and exercise to lose body fat and gain lean muscles. If you just want to lose weight then totally change your diet and never eat fast food or starches

and never believe that pills work because they don't!! that aci berry is BS and a real waste of good money

yes it does, but take it from me, if you cut out carbs you WILL crave them and you may eventually binge on carbs. dont cut them out, just dont eat any of the white foods, i.e white bread, white rice etc. eat more whole grain breads, whole grain cereal etc. protein is a must when dieting, it helps you build lean muscle, try eating eggs, chicken, turkey, peanut butter, and almonds :) i hope i helped good luck!

I lost 70 pounds in 11 months by eating low-carb meals and walking a half hour a day.I would eat a lot of lean meat and no bread or sugar at all.people tell you you only have to walk for 40minutes 4 times a week to lose weight and eat low calories but I lost more weight by walking everyday and eating low-carb.You dont need the atkins book,just dont eat carbs and dont eat anything past 7 oclock.It works!
