I'm 16 years old and have gained weight throughout the year because I have not been exercising as much as I was able to over the summer to do my busy schedule with schools and studying. I have a heavy courseload this year so I haven't been eating very healthy. I eat dinner when I have time and if I don't have time for dinner I just sleep and eat breakfast like I usually would in the morning. Usually i eat a poptart for breakfast in school and then I eat a bag of chips for lunch.
after I finish my AP exams in the beginning of May, I will have sooooo much more free time so I can relax and get back on track with my workout. I have a treadmill at home ( conveniently in my room =D).
in what ways can I eat healthier/diet and exercise to maximize the amount of weight loss? Fruits I like to eat are bananas, apples and grapes. Vegetables that I can tolerate are peas and carrots. I like salad and cucumbers. I don't eat candy that often, only gum. For some reason, during the summer I don't eat as much as I do during the school year.
I'd like to lose weight in my midsection, arms, thighs/legs.
Can you give me some type of plan that I can follow on school days after the AP exams on how much to exercise and also one for the summer?
I'm about 5'3 and won't get much taller. I weigh about 140
