Is this weight loss good or bad?

It's been a little less than 9 months and I've lost around 60 lbs. I've just been exercising and not eating as much. I take a 2 mile jog everyday and I don't eat fast food, I cut out fatty foods such as cookies, ice cream, chips and all that stuff. I drink only water. And I try to be as active as possible. My family thinks that I have an eating disorder or am taking weight loss pills which I'm not. I don't no if it's a good thing or bad thing that I've lost 60 lbs. in under or around 9 months. I just wish they'd stop thinking that I have eating disorder. Do you think it's a good or bad thing that I've lost this much weight. I used to weigh around 185 lbs. and now I'm around 125.

I'm 17 if that helps.

You go girl! That's awesome, but I think you should stop dieting now, you can have a balanced diet to stay at that weight. I don't know how old you are but you seem really healthy! Good job!

Don't listen to what the girl said about stop dieting. What you are doing isn't dieting, it is simply eating healthy. Why should you eat chips and cookies when they aren't healthy for you? It obviously isn't too hard for you to go without (I'm jealous) so just keep them out of your life. Your body will stop losing weight eventually, so you don't have to worry about withering away to nothing, you will simply be healthy. Good job!
