Is this cancer??Please help,Im scared!!?

Im 14 years old.I have this pain on my torso somewhere above my left kidney.The pain is front and back of the torso and it is on the skin.The pain is not much,there is no rash or anything.It suddenly came there from about 3 days ago when i woke up.Its not that pain but I can feel when I adjust my shirt.Is it cancer?Im scared.

I don't think anybody here will be able to tell you if you have or have not cancer. You should go and see a doctor.

Cancer doesnt just 1 day happen. You'd gradually start feeling some pain, not waking up 1 day feeling it.

Why would you automatically think cancer? I would think infection or kidney stone way before cancer lol. Request blood work and xrays to ease your concern Im not saying you arent sick but why does everyone always automatically think cancer when they get a pain here or there? Cancer is so unlikely but better to be safe the sorry. Obsessing will make your pain worse...trust me I know. Also wait a minute you said you woke up with the pain...sounds like you were sleeping in a weird position. Give it a few days your pain will prob subside but still go to the doctor.

If you look at your anatomy the place you describe is in the lower left quadrant . . which is where most of your large intestine is coiled . . it is probably gas or indigestion or constipation. It is not unusual to feel ill or feel pain from the colon as it digests food. The bowel can cause all kinds of unpleasant feelings . . but at your age it is almost never related to cancer.

There are so many different things that this could be . . only a doctor might be able to unravel what it is . . but usually this type of 'pain' or discomfort will take care of itself within days. It could be constipation or an ulcer or even the intestinal flu . . or almost anything. In general, if the pain or discomfort does not go away in a few more days than call your doctor.

Incidentally . . to ease your mind . . cancer is painless unless it is stage IV and by than you would know you had cancer.
