Is anxiety a mental health problem?

Postby JayJay274 on Wed Oct 21, 2009 12:40 am

In the old days, anxiety was called "dis-ease", or the opposite of ease. It can be cured with a little homework, no chemicals needed. For some people (like psychiatrists) it's a serious mental problem, but for others (Christians, for example) it's just a part of growing up that needs some patient homework. Choose one, or the other :-)

Is anxiety a mental health problem?

Postby Peachesandcream693 on Wed Oct 21, 2009 3:32 am

I have had anxiety and I have known I had it. Those sweaty palms, heart pounding, excited and rapid speech, feeling of dread, being so nervous public speaking, someone asking you a question. Lots of people have "mental problems" but it is only a problem if you let it be. Be strong and fight it. That's what I did.
