in 3 weeks, i am going back to an anorexic unit?

to be weighed.

I left for a month because i was doing well and my consultant said that if i come back weighing more than i did on my last weigh in then i don't have to stay. However, if i am the same or less i will have to stay.

(For the life of me i don't want this to happen)

I am currently on a 3,150 calorie diet. I think i gained a little weight but i cannot be sure as i dont as of yet have any scales. I have ordered some which are coming next week.

I need to gain a little weight to prove that i can cope with weight gain which i can, but not too much), i am sick of food and eating more because thats what i have been doing for so long now. what i dont want to happen is that, i think i have put weight on and go to the clinic and find out ive lost :(. Nor do i want to gain loads, freak out and try to lose. I just need a happy medium.

If you have any ideas, please let me know.

I have put weight on, on this diet but i was told that you have to increase you diet by 300 calories a week to continue weight gain, i am not actually worried about putting the weight on, i just don't like having to so much more on top of what i am already eating - it's uncomfotable! I don't want to be lectured, if you want to help me then please do otherwise please mind you own bussiness. I've come this far, i don't want anyone telling me i can't do the finally straight.

At 3150 you should be gaining some weight. Just keep your mind off of it.

Anorexia can be deadly so be honest and don't try anything to "cheat" to stay out. Just by asking this question it seems that you can NOT cope with ganing weight (Because eating 3100 calories a day for a month should at least put a little weight on you) And you're worried that you stayed the same....
Talk to a mental health professional. I don't own any scales because I would become obsessed, I haven't weighed myself in over a year and i have be so much more happier than when i was just watching numbers all day!

You are probably gaining weight eating 3150 calories per day, but you should continue your diet just to make sure that you don't have to stay. It will probably be easiest for you to get in enough food if you eat foods that are very dense in calories, and eat small, frequent snacks and meals rather than a few large meals (it will feel less overwhelming). here are some calorie-dense foods you could try:
-nuts, peanut butter and/or trail mix
-Ensure/Boost shakes
-bars such as Kashi GoLean and Clif
-dried fruit, avocado, banana
-granola
-bagels
-high-calorie cereal such as Honey Bunches of Oats
-whole milk dairy products such as whole milk yogurt and ice cream (not the reduced fat or light kind)
-cheese and/or cottage cheese
-high-calorie meats such as salmon
You've done a great job of following your meal plan so far - just stick to it, and you won't have to worry about staying at the treatment center. Good luck.
