If you had children before marriage, did you wear a veil?

Technically, you can't wear white if you're not a virgin. So I'd say in this case, you should wear the veil if your wedding is formal or semi formal and looks right with the style of dress you choose- for example, a ballgown would look good with a veil, as would most strapless gowns.

Oh please! Bridal etiquette is so far out of date it's not even funny! Your wedding day should be all about YOU and YOUR NEW HUSBAND, celebrating YOUR love, YOUR way. Etiquette shmettiquitte! It's also said that the only brides who can wear white have to be virgins! How many people do you think break that one every day? LOL! If I followed that, when (if) I ever get married I think I'll have to wear black! Or maybe red!

If you want to wear a veil, wear it. If you wanted to wear a turtle on your head, I'd say go for it. It's YOUR day. Don't let ANYONE, least of all some old fuddy-duddy rule of etiquette discourage you from doing exactly what YOU want!

Sorry... I guess I feel strongly about this, LOL!

Hopefully you will only get married once in a lifetime and the last thing that you want to do is miss out on the things that are important to you. I spent a long time organising my wedding and after 2 and a half years I still think back to how I had everything I wanted regardless of others opinions. It is your special day, enjoy it. Believe me, you will be so busy on the day that you won't even think about it !!!

thats a new one to me! I had two kids, I wore a very white dress with a very white veil lol! The veil just pinned under my hairdo though and flowed down my back, not over my face or anything.

Whats a wedding dress without a veil! I say go for it! There are no set rules these days, do what works for you

Whoever told you that a veil is related to virginity and whether or not you have had children has no clue what they are talking about.
