I think i have a mouse how do you get rid of it?

I had a mouse previously we were able to trap it and throw it out.



Since I purchased a riddex plus but i'm afraid it's not working, we left the old traps set that were left over and now its missing and there is a pool of dried blood where it was.



I'm really really really afraid of mice, so please please help.

the only thing i have found effective is sticky traps and peanut butter.

the best way by far is the peanut butter, rice, & salt, solution. you mix the rice, peanut butter and salt together, make a nice mouse size snack ball out of it. they'll eat it because they like the peanut butter, ingesting the rice and salt along with it, the salt makes them very thirsty and they'll drink and drink, causing the rice to swell up, (you can use concrete instead of rice), resulting in the death of said mouse. if you use concrete, it will harden, with the same result.

Put the traps out and bait it with peanut butter. Keep the traps out several weeks after you think you have the last one. There is never just one.
You could also get a cat from the human society.

Decon works well for us. Mouse traps and chunky peanut butter is a sure fire way. The trick is to shove one of the chunks into the little notch on the trigger, no mouse can resist fighting to get that chunk out. Nice thing about mouse traps is that they are so cheap you can dispose of them if you don't want to take the mouse out of them. I would say if the trap is gone and you have a pool of blood, you got that one.
