I plan on getting drunk tonight, is it even worth going to the gym?

I plan on getting drunk tonight, is it even worth going to the gym?

Alcohol hinders muscle gains and fat loss, should I even work out if I am going to be getting shitty? I am already in pretty good shape, but I've been trying to build muscle. I would assume that working out and drinking is better than drinking and not working out at all before. And don't tell me to just not drink, because its Friday night and I'm in college.

you can still work out. Just don't drink a lot of beer. Instead take shots because you don't need as much and most are zero calories.

Hahah

I'm in a similar situation, well I'm a chick and not trying to make gains...but anyway, your logic is interesting, you think alcohol is going to un-do whatever you did, but if you don't go to the gym then wouldn't the alcohol leave you at a negative?

If I had the motivation earlier I would have gone to the gym, so that drinking wouldn't have an effect on my progress, but now if I go out and drink I will just be fatter and even more lazy tomorrow.

So yeah you already answered your own question, and I would go to the gym if I was debating it (but I'm past that point lol and decided it's not happening...just got back from the liquor store instead :( lol

But whatever, like you said it's Friday night, I try not to be too hard on myself on the weekends.

I will take a shot for you tonight. LoL
