I need to make a fake door?

Can anyone tell me where I could purchase or how I could make a fake door for a shop window display . It does not need to be full size..just 4 feet or so, but I would like it to look like its got panels. Thank you to anyone who can help!

Maybe get a sheet of Ply wood or hardboard

to the size you want.

If you cannt saw wood or like just want a really simple thing.

Cut out from card the uprights, base middle and top strips that are around a door.

when these are stuck on to the hardboard or ply, it will look like a pannelled door.

You can add to the door then a handle letter box etc with more card .

HOPE THIS HELPS.

OR IF YOU HAVE A SAW AND TIME THEN YOU CAN CUT THE
CARD PIECES FROM PLY WOOD.

bUT i THINK THE CARD IS OK AND YOU CAN ADD MORE CARD TO GIVE IT A DEPTH.

I don't know how much skill you have, but you could buy a sheet of plywood some moldingand use your imagination and I bet you can come up with something pretty cool

Could you buy a used 6-panel door and cut it in half?

You can buy a hollow hardboard door for about 20 bucks that looks like a panel door. why spend a lot of time making a fake door when you can buy one that cheap?

I agree with drewfuss. Go to a big box store and find a hollow core that has been damaged. Cut it in half, put a 2x4 or whatever in the top, nail or glue it in, your done.
