You exercise, so that's a plus. You can always bump it up a notch. If it's jogging around the block, or doing push-ups in your room, or whatever. Y

You should ask your parents to be supportive regarding the junk food, but if they won't be, you'll just have to be strong and resist it. As far as fast food goes, go to the website(s) of the restaurant(s) that your parents frequent, and find out what the healthiest alternatives are.... Wendy's has wonderful salads, Taco Bell has the "Fresco" options. Hardee's has the Low-Carb Thick Burger. Choose wisely, and fast food can be good for you.... Remember Jared from the Subway Commercials? Maybe your parents would be willing to go to Subway more often, or at least pick up a sub for you while they're stopping somewhere else. Even at McDonald's you can get a grilled chicken sandwich, hold the mayo. I'm sure you can talk your parents into buying healthy cereal, and at least a quart of skim milk. So just ignore the doughnuts, be strong and eat a healthy breakfast.

If nothing else, google the number of calories that Micheal Phelps eats in a day.... You CAN make healthier choices and excercise your way out of it!

You already know the cause and the answer, Zaina.
You don't have to eat the do-nuts, do you? They don't sit you down and force you, do they?
Start thinking "Fat makes me fat". Check the fat content on the back of fast food packets and eat smaller helpings of those high in calories.
To fill you up, ask Mum if you can have an apple. If you want something to nibble during the day, ask her to get some carrots and make carrot sticks.
Look at things you can cut down not necessarily give up. If you have two biscuits every day with a cup of tea or coffee, have just one - that's 365 biscuits you've saved in a year. How many calories is that?
Ask if you can put a notice on the fridge "Fridge pickers wear big knickers" so that you see it whenever you are tempted to nibble something other than fruit or veg.
Make a graph and weigh yourself daily - put your weight on the graph daily. Don't expect the line to drop suddenly. If you lose just an ounce a day, that's 25lb over the year,
If you travel anywhere by bus - get off the stop before your usual one and walk the rest of the way. Use stairs not lifts/elevators.
You can use the guys on here as your support group - report in every week and tell us your success story.
Best of luck, hon. Remember:"Fat Makes Me Fat"

,
My friend has been thinking about trying the Acai Berry. She heard on Oprah and Rachel Ray that it works really well. You might want to check it out.
