I got this static feeling today and it confused me?

I like this guy and school and every time i'm around him i get all weak. But today my friend in science came up to me and he asked "is my hand bigger that urs?" so we put our hands together like a high five but instead of pulling away we left our hands there for a few seconds. While that was going on i got this static feeling in my hand and and when i looked at him he had this sparkle i've never seen before in his eye. I'm just confused. Does that mean I like him?
