And what else will they do?

How likely are they to sue?

First, they will kill you with overdraft fees for whatever debits or checks you wrote and do not have the money to cover.

Second, they will send a letter telling you you have 30 days (or whatever their time frame is) to bring your account current by depositing money to cover the fees etc or they will turn your account over for collections and be closed.

If it goes that far, they will also report you to ChexSystems, which will make it impossible for you to get a regular bank account for 5 years.

Also, the collection agency can choose to sue you.

Not if you make a deposit to cover your overdraft immediately. If you do not, they will close your account and report you to chex systems, and you will not be able to open a account at any bank.
