how will the marriage last?

how will the marriage last?

Postby imwuthewants on Sat May 09, 2009 7:00 pm

ok a close friend of mine got this phone call from his ex like a month ago. she said she was pregnant and she wants to get married cause its most likely his. they broke up in september 08, and he went to visit his family back in feb 09 for two weeks. he said he don't remember sleeping with her... but he was really drunk. he hooked up with this girl for a few months before he found out. he told me he was falling for her. but then he got that call and like a week later he goes home and marries his ex. but he is still seeing this other girl that he was supposedly falling for. and she knows the situation, and she has been really depressed because he told her he was falling for her and then goes and gets married. she said that he has stolen her heart and that she only wants him to be happy, but says its like pain full having the one you love go and marry someone else.

and he has only been married for a month now if that. And he takes the girl that's not his wife out to the movies and dinner and they look really good together and that's when he is the happiest it seems, i still don't know what he was thinking when he got married. that girl is awesome as hell and gorgeous. and his wife is just a B*****. he tells me he wants to leave his wife but don't want his family looking down on him. he said he might just wait it out till the baby is born just to make sure she is covered for the pregnancy, and to see if its really his. If not he is going to get a divorce cause he dont love her anymore. and he even told his wife about the other girl and how he has fallen for her. his wife didn't say anything back like she didnt know what to say and his wife keeps telling her friends that everything is going great and how they are still in love and happy.

so how long do you think this marriage is going to last? i dont want to see my friend get hurt in the end...

like when that other girl finally decides to move on with her life and he got divoreced just to be with her... but she had already moved on. that sorta thing. and plus she has two kids so she cant wait forever to find someone to love, she been hurt to many times before.

Well I don't know but I know one thing your friend is better off without him, if he really wanted to find out if the baby was his he would of, he is using these excuses, I feel sorry for your friend he is not a trustworthy person, she should not waste her time or emotion, what he did is wrong, he did not have to marry.

Sorry, but he deserves to be hurt.
He made the decision to marry this girl
The least he could do is stay faithful to her

I don't think most guys would run out and marry someone who is pregnant if they don't know if the baby is theirs. No matter what he's telling "your friend", there must be more to it for him to have rushed into marriage with someone else.

Judging from your comments, you sound more like the jealous and immature girlfriend than her "friend". Why would you believe anything he's saying? He's cheating on his wife and telling his girlfriend his tale of woe just so he can continue to sleep with her. He's selfish and only interested in his own needs.

To have a successful marriages you need two mature and well-adjusted adults. Marriage is built on love, trust and mutual respect. None of the people involved in this have any of these qualities. I see no hope for the future for any of them.
