How many miles to run during exercise?

I had too many pounds in all the wrong areas until I used acai berry, I know they say that pills don't work, nevertheless they definitely worked for me, and they've been shown on CNN too. There is a free trial happening currently at http://jugrass.esomnio.com , why not try it, what is the worst that could happen?

the milage means nothing now. What you want to do it work out for 30 minutes a day for 4-5 days a week. The miles add up, but the 30 minutes it to get a good cardiovascular workout. I would say start at 30 minutes a day and then bump up the time and speed. Do hill workouts and intervals as well.

It depends on how much you usually run.

Go up by a mile or so and cut down your calorie intake about 200 - 300 less everyday

All of the above answers are useless if you don't keep the following truths in mind:

A lot depends on how many calories you take in during the day and how many you burn while exercising. Losing weight is as simple as this: Take in fewer calories than you expend and you lose weight. Conversely, if you take in more calories than you expend, you gain weight. So, if you want to lose weight, make sure that you know how many calories running burns and how many calories you're eating each day. You get 2,000 free calories in this equation because that's an average of how many you burn just being alive. If you kept your calorie intake under 2,000, you'd probably lose weight without exercising at all. Depending on how fast you run, you could burn as many as 400 to 500 an hour. I'll let you do the math.

It's not really about the distance but more about the time. Anything more than 20 minutes is good. Getting started with exercise is hard so set daily goals. The first day you could try jogging/walking for 21 minutes but by the third try to jogg for 21 minutes. These techniques will help you to lose weight, and help you to enjoy actually doing the exercise because you won't feel overwhelmed.
