how long will it take my hair to grow this long?

that would take you prolly two or three years, probably longer
on the bright side, that's not her real hair. she's wearing extensions :) they make it easy for those with short hair to have long, luscious and natural looking hair.
talk to your hair stylist about getting a weft added in. it's not too complicated and looks beautiful when done correctly. or, if you're adventurous like I was, pick up the wefts and glue, look up how to do it, and do it yourself :) it takes practice but really isn't too difficult when you ge the hang of it.

Hair grows about 1/2 every 2-3 months so do the math. If your hair is shoulder length and you want it to grow to your butt, i'd say it'll take 3 years. Keep in mind you'd have massive damage if you never cut it. So try going almost a year then trim it and go for another year and trim it. If you trimmed it every 3 months or so as per normal it'll stay one length. Try to go longer without trimming it and buy a good shampoo and conditionner for your ends. I recommend buying a hydrator to use weekly. K-PAK is a good one from Joico. Good luck. By the way, her hair in that picture isn't real, she's wearing extensions. Just saying...:)
