How is legalizing marijuana good for the economy??

I read an article that they are trying to legalize marijuana because of the bad economy. My question is how it does it help in any way.

Maybe it's to relieve stress I don't know......

It will open new businesses and more people buying from the business. It is a way of stimulating the economy. Seeing that it is the #1 illegal drug in the US it will help a lot.

off the top of my head...

money from sales
money from not trying to find and destroy crops
money from less crimes being committed/prosecutions

It would bring in tons of cash to our government and would stimulate the economy more than anything else. We would definitely lose a lot of money on production because of people coming into work high and lazy potheads not doing anything anymore cuz all they wanna do is smoke pot but overall if the government legalized pot the economy would go BOOM!

Legalizing marijuana would be good for the economy because if it were legal, we could sell it, tax growers, produce thousands of green jobs, and we'd feel great while we were doing it!
