How can I save tomato seeds for use next year?

How can I save tomato seeds for use next year?

Postby Bill200 on Fri Oct 23, 2009 12:36 am

I bought an heirloom tomato plant this spring. The tomatoes were absolutely delicious! I'd like to dry some seeds for planting next year but have absolutely no idea how to go about doing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Just lay them out on a newspaper for a week or so, put them in an envelope until next spring. That is the way we did it 60 years ago.
