How can I end my binge eating disorder without seeing a therapist?

A while ago, someone asked a similar question about binge eating disorder. My advice to you is the same:
Although I don't have that eating disorder, I have experienced other eating disorders, and because of that, i have learned a lot about nutrition and what helps people to lose and gain weight, so maybe i could help. the best thing would be to go to a nutritionist (preferably one who specializes in eating disorders), but here are some tips that may also help you:
-plan out your meals: if you have a meal planned out and you have an idea of when you're next going to eat and how much, you'll be less likely to binge. a meal plan will also help you to realize when you are most likely to binge and on what foods, and it will also help you to learn about the nutrition in foods
-think about when, where and why you are most likely to binge. BED is an eating disorder, and it is almost always caused by underlying problems, and when these problems surface, you may be more likely to binge. if you can recognize these problems, you can prevent them and take steps to deal with them in more healthy ways
-throw out binge foods. stock up on healthy, low-calorie foods like fruits, vegetables, light breads and yogurts and low-fat meat products and make an effort to find some low-calorie treats for when you're craving something sweet.
-avoid high-calorie beverages and try to drink lots of water, because it will keep you full and satisfied. if you drink water between bites, you'll fill up quicker and will be more likely to stick to reasonable portion sizes
-when you feel like binging, distract yourself until the urge goes away. you could read, talk on the phone, listen to music, go online, take a walk, watch a movie or take a bath. just do something to distract yourself.
-exercise. it builds muscle, increases your basal metabolic rate, and lets you feel accomplished and fit.
-make a list of reasons why you shouldn't binge, and why you want to recover
-set goals for yourself. for example, you could aim to binge half as frequently as you usually do, aim to exercise more, aim to eat healthier foods, aim to learn more about calories, etc.
-before you binge, try to avoid it or lessen the amount that you binge by first eating a salad or drinking some water
-get support. find out if there are any eating disorder support groups in your area, or look for psychologists and nutritionists who can help you. talking to friends and family about your problem could also help to make you more aware of its impact on you.
Good luck
