Having trouble losing weight?

Having trouble losing weight?

Postby JessicaEKU on Thu May 07, 2009 5:37 pm

I am a 28 year old female and am having trouble losing weight. When I was in college, I was very overweight and made the decision to start exercising and eating better. This lead to a 65 pound weight loss that I have been able to maintain since then, with a flucutation of around 5 pounds usually. I am still working out, even harder now, and I eat right. It is a struggle to lose weight now. I exercise 5 days a week, eat fruits veggies, lean proteins and never drink sodas. I asked my doctor about this yesterday at a yearly exam, and he said the birth control pill I am on is not helping me lose weight, however, I was on the pill in college when I lost weight. When I told him that, he said, well, age isn't on your side either. I find it hard to believe that at only 28, age isn't on my side anymore! Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Having trouble losing weight?

Use higher intensity workouts for fat burn and vary your exercise so that your muscles do not get use to the same routine. Make sure your daily dietary intake is no more than 2000 calories. If you think it is about that then I suggest lowering it anywhere to the minimum of 1200 cal.

I also suggest getting a second opinion on your birth control from another doctor. He might explain there could be another health issue going on so get checked out pronto!

Good luck!

Having trouble losing weight?

I have started this Diet (lifestyle change) in the middle of November at 140lbs, and now at 117lbs

google fruit fast

A DIET IS WHAT YOU EAT....there for we are all on a diet....
THINK LIFESTYLE CHANGE

You got the change the way you think and feel about food

TRY THIS, and stick to it.

The first 3-4 weeks are the hardest until your body adjusts to the change.
Results will be in about the same time

Fruits and Veggies

Eat more plants and keep away from stuff that was made in plants.

Don't eat anything that comes in a can, box or package....
.....THEY HAVE ADDITIVES IN THEM THAT MAKE YOU ADDICTED TO THE FOOD.....
If man made it, don't eat it

NO white BREAD or SUGAR

NO PIZZA, I am in the pizza business, and it is not good for you, very high in FAT and Calories

NO FRIED FOOD...

Stay away from FAST FOOD

NO POP, SODA or FIZZY DRINKS

Walk your dog, or walk a friends dog

Don't think of it as a diet, but think of it as a lifestyle change

I have lost 28.5 pounds in 3 months, drink lots of water. I usually eat a meal of what ever I want once a week....controlled portion....this really works.........

Write down every thing you eat

take a multivitamin at night

looked great all the time. I used to have the
biggest belly until I found a site that showed
me how to eat right and workout properly. Now,
I am doing all the right things...u can refer to this helpful article: http://ur.lc/4pq
