I am a 28 year old female and am having trouble losing weight. When I was in college, I was very overweight and made the decision to start exercising and eating better. This lead to a 65 pound weight loss that I have been able to maintain since then, with a flucutation of around 5 pounds usually. I am still working out, even harder now, and I eat right. It is a struggle to lose weight now. I exercise 5 days a week, eat fruits veggies, lean proteins and never drink sodas. I asked my doctor about this yesterday at a yearly exam, and he said the birth control pill I am on is not helping me lose weight, however, I was on the pill in college when I lost weight. When I told him that, he said, well, age isn't on your side either. I find it hard to believe that at only 28, age isn't on my side anymore! Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
