Yes, these are my favorite sunflowers to grow.
There have been many new hybrids released in the past few years. One of my favorites is called "Teddy Bear". It looks fuzzy all over.

as said here, wild sunflowers naturally make multiple flower heads per stem.... it's the hybrids that make just one.... even then, if something happens to the main flower, it gets broken or cut off, a new one will sprout lower down....

Had one come up from birdseed this year which had over 30 heads!
