Girls or guys, I need your help?

Long story short: I got involved with a girl who was already with a boyfriend; he is manipulative and controlling. We both fell for each other and both told each other we wanted a long future together. She went back to him because she felt bad for him and he threatened quitting his career and school without her in his life. Its been a long 6 months since this started.

Anyways i had an epiphany and I want to tell her that if she wants to be with me I want it to be out of love and happiness not out of sympathy. I don't want to come of as manipulative in any way but does this statement seem that way to you? Its just the way I feel so is it ok to tell her this?

Im not sure how old you are or how much experience you have with women, however to put your life on hold for a woman you cannot have is not a bright thing to do. Explore your options and if in the future you two stand a chance of being an item and BOTH of you are single then so be it. If not then i suggest you play the field and find a good woman who can respect you and what you stand for. Karma is a big thing, do not mess with someone in a relaitonship.
I promise you nothing good will come out of it.

Just tell her that you love her and will always be there for her. Dont get mad at her, but instead shower her with love and affection, and she will eventually see that you are "the one" for her

I was in the same situation 14 years ago. I did what I thought was honorable and stepped away. I never had a decent relationship afterwords. Just this year we ran into eachother and started talking. She told me she wished I would have stepped up and told her how I felt. She told me she thought of me on her wedding day and cried. Since they got devorced and we are together now 14 years later. Speak up and do not waste the time I did.

If she is still with her boyfriend then you should just wait until they break up. I mean ya it will suck waiting but if she means that much to you then the wait would be worth it right?

if you are going to be with a person that is already in a relationship, then do not be shock if that same person meets up with someone while she is with you. Its better if she breaks away completely. In this situation, I suggest you find another person because your telling me she is manipulative and controlling.
