Exercising but not losing any weight at all?

Exercising but not losing any weight at all?

Postby AO on Wed May 06, 2009 11:25 pm

7 days a week i do a hip hop abs workout video ranging from 30mins to 45mins. and normally i do not eat over 1200 calories, most of the time i keep it under that. i have not seen any results yet. every day i usually eat an orange in the morning or some kind of fruit, and then at lunch i have some kind of nutrition bar(never over 150 cals) and then in the evening i will have some snack of some sort, and then for dinner i have chicken noodle soup a lot(140 calories-210 calories depending on the brand) and on top of that i get exercise every day in my lifetime sports class. still my weight stays at 140 pounds. and i measure and have not lost any inches at all. i have been doing this for about a week and a half to two weeks and have seen no changes at all. so why am i not losing weight? and please dont say that i am not consuming enough calories because i really dont get any hungrier than that and i have tried consuming more calories than that and i gain weight even quicker

It doesn't happen that quickly. For some people, it takes months. You just need to wait. As long as you're being healthy about it, it'll come sooner or later. If it's only been 2 weeks, you need to wait a bit longer, I believe.

you arent eating enough calories to sustain you thats why..

your body has gone into 'starvation mode' - your metabolism has slowed and your body will retain the fat on your body due to the low intake of calories.

I suggest you incorporate more nutritional food into your diet to kick start your metabolim - you will then find that the weight will start to come off.

Have more protein at night and high fibre cereal in the morning. An orange isnt going to sustain you until lunch!!
