exercising but not losing any weight at all???? help!?

Postby AO on Wed May 06, 2009 11:29 pm

7 days a week i do a hip hop abs workout video ranging from 30mins to 45mins. and normally i do not eat over 1200 calories, most of the time i keep it under that. i have not seen any results yet. every day i usually eat an orange in the morning or some kind of fruit, and then at lunch i have some kind of nutrition bar(never over 150 cals) and then in the evening i will have some snack of some sort, and then for dinner i have chicken noodle soup a lot(140 calories-210 calories depending on the brand) and on top of that i get exercise every day in my lifetime sports class. still my weight stays at 140 pounds. and i measure and have not lost any inches at all. i have been doing this for about a week and a half to two weeks and have seen no changes at all. so why am i not losing weight?

and please dont say that i am not consuming enough calories because i really dont get any hungrier than that and i have tried consuming more calories than that and i gain weight even quicker

When you do the same thing over and over and over your body gets into a comfort zone. You need to find something else to do to every other day to mix up your exercise routine. Another thing--you are not feeding your body properly. You need to eat something more for breakfast. That is the most important meal of the day. It feeds not just your body, but your brain. If you eat a better breakfast you will find you have a lot more energy throughout the day. Also, your body needs healthy amounts of protein, carbs and veggies. While protein bars are marketed as a 'good for you' product, they really aren't. Talk to a nutritionist to get a proper diet to aid in your weight loss.

well i know that muscle weighs more than fat

now u just started exercising... u need to give it time
change ur routine up

take vitamins...

a colon cleanser wouldnt hurt either...

drink plenty of water

weight training supposedly burns twice as much calories because even after ur done exercising ur body is still burning calories way after

hang in there, u'll notice the difference in weeks to come...

ur body is toning up
