Does the Good Year blimp really make people think of tires? Or help Goodyear tire sales?...Did it ever?

The concept is name reckognition, and it worked very well. When you think Super Bowl, you think Blimp and remember Goodyear tires.

It's not meant to make you think of tires, It's made to make you think of good year.

Think about it, you're in a store and you see tires branded Brand X, Tireson Tires, Jimbo Tires, and Goodyear and none of the others have blimps or anything and you have never heard of them, which ones are you going to buy?
