Absolutely. He obviously walked into an ambush. This was not an intelligent debate about issues that need to be discussed dispassionately and without having the debate stifled by cries of racism. This 'debate' was reminiscent of the philosophy of the three wise monkeys. Sooner rather than later we must face up to the fact that mass, unchecked immigration is destroying our culture and way of life in this country. It is a vitally important issue which won't go away if we simply ignore it and demonise anyone who points out that the emperor has no clothes.
